Inland Empire Track Club
Mason C. Burroughs
I have been involved in track and field since the age of 7. At the age of 17, I competed in the 1980 Olympic Trials and then again in 1984. In 1983, I was selected to represent USA in the 1st and only Friendship Games against China, Korea, and Japan. (These games were held in Taiwan and the first big meet after the 1980 boycott). From 1997 to the present, I’ve coached high school track and field. Each year my 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams
advanced to CIF prelims and finals and the State Meet. I was voted “Coach of the Year” by my peers twice in the last five years. I like passing on my experience in track and field to the youth of today by giving them knowledge; not just on the track field, but in life as they move up from grammar school through college and into the professional world. We have higher standards for our coaches, athletes and parents. Our young runners of today are the future of this team and they will be our best recruiters of tomorrow. I want our athletes to be well rounded in education and street savvy. I want them to be Christ like men and women. I'm also the bailiff on the Judge Alex Court TV Show, “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us…” , “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” We have a young club and our athletes have made it to the National Junior Olympics each year.
As a Man of God, I am made in his image, as are we all… We strive to be the Best we Can Be...
Cross Country & Distance
I have been involved with endurance sports since a young age, running track in high school as well as college. As an officer in the US Army, I lead and trained teams for many competitions such as, the Army 10 miler, inter-service competitions and major Divisional competitive teams. I was also the two-time Fort Irwin Sprint Triathlon
champion. During my career
I attended some of the most challenging military schools such as Ranger School, Sapper School, Airborne and Air Assault, as well as Mountain Leader Course. These experiences helped me develop the physical as well as mental stamina required in endurance focused sports such as cross country and distance races in track.. I have continued my recreational running after the military and have developed a passion for coaching young athletes. I am a USATF Level 1 Certified coach and have coached high school cross country and track for the past two years. I am honored to be part of shaping young athletes to grow in God’s love as well as build their mental and physical abilities to help them succeed long into the future.
My favorite scripture to reflect on is, “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9
I am Felicia Jones, Executive Secretary for the IE Stallions track club. A fun fact about me is that I like to collect cookbooks. My favorite pastime is to snuggle under a warm blanket and go to sleep! I also enjoy watching old detective and lawyer shows on TV. My favorite
scripture is Psalm 34:8… Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

Sprints & Relays
Hi my name is Sharayza! I have been around the sport of Track and Field since the age of 9. I remember begging my mom to let me run and I can say that it has been something that has been embedded in me for the last 21 years. My first year in High School I was on the Varsity team that went to CIF for 4 straight years. I have ran for RCC both years where we were Orange Empire Conference Champions, in addition I also made it to the State Meet for both relay’s. ( 4x100 and 4x400) I also
competed at Azusa Pacific and finished my season in 2010. Since-I have coached the young one all the way up through High School. What I love about coaching is being able to share with the younger generation that you are capable of doing anything that you put your mind to, and with hard work and dedication you will reach your goals. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and watching Law and Order -SVU .Fun fact about me is that I worked two job, went to school to finish my degree and was a new Mom all within the same year. (Talk about determination!) My favorite Scripture is (Proverbs 22:6) "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
My name is Ana McCullough. I am the Treasurer for the track club. A fun fact about me is that I am an ex-Mexican folkloric dancer and Private Boyz's groupie! I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids. My favorite scripture is Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 ESV)
